Brook Ranne

Brook will be greatly missed in the Chicago SQL and PASS community. She led the Business Intelligence users group downtown once a month and always made sure to have excellent speakers and sponsorship for the event. She also was active with our SQL Saturday volunteer group and had stepped in at the last minute last year to be part of our staff without batting an eye.

Brook always had ideas on how to improve on processes or add something a little extra to make things special. Her enthusiasm and dedication to any task she was offered was nothing short of inspirational.

Joe, I'm sorry we never had the chance to meet and my deepest sympathy goes out to you.

Brook I was sorrowed to hear that you left you us behind.  You were always a bright light for me.  You were willing to assist, share and learn.  Your courage was an inspiration.  You have left a hole in our lives.

Thank you for your service to the PASS and SQL Saturday community.  Your willingness to jump in and do what ever needed doing was an example to us all.  You will be missed.
